התערוכה עוסקת בפוטנציאל השינוי הגלום בכל מצב, בנפש האדם, במציאות ובחומר. העבודות המשתתפות מציגות היפוך פוטנציאלי, כזה שיכול להתפתח רק בתנאי שתינקט עמדה או פעולה: חימר שהופך לצילום, אלומיניום שמוליד ניצן של פרח, דיו שחור שמעכיר מים שקופים, כלי נשק שהופך לתכשיט.

שם התערוכה שאול מספרו של המשורר יעקב ביטון, "אחותי בזוהר" מ- 2018 (עורך: דרור בורשטיין). בספר זה משייט ביטון בין רקיעים ותהומות ומעל לשורות מרחפת רוח שכינה או ניצוץ אלוהי – שמבטאים את פוטנציאל ההיפוך והשינוי.

Tonight I changed the color of the sky

The exhibition deals with the potential for transformation inherent in every situation—within the human psyche, reality, and matter itself. The participating works present a potential reversal, one that can only unfold when a stance is taken or an action is performed: clay turning into a photograph, aluminum giving rise to a flower bud, black ink clouding clear water, a weapon transforming into jewelry.

The exhibition’s title is borrowed from the poet Yaakov Biton’s book “My sister in glow” (2018, edited by Dror Burstein). In this book, Biton drifts between heavens and abysses, while above the lines hovers a spirit of divinity or a divine spark—expressing the potential for inversion and transformation.
